great access to parks and historical landmarks within walking distance

The staff were exceptionally friendly and the beautiful decor in my room made for a lovely stay, while being just a short stroll to Whalley Abbey and Memorial Park for wonderful weekend explorations. as a single traveler, I appreciated the spacious and comfortable room provided.

Dinner was tasty, but the room lacked privacy with just a blind.

The noise from other guests and events can be truly disruptive!!! The inconsistent room temperature was just plain frustrating, making for an uncomfortable stay. I'd expect better maintenance overall – broken fixtures detract from the experience!!!

the food was superb, really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast! the staff were super friendly and helpful, made me feel right at home. the room was nice and comfy with a great view, perfect for a solo getaway. loved the countryside vibe too, it was so peaceful! overall, a really nice stay.

I had a lovely stay in the Executive Double Room with great countryside views. The staff were exceptionally attentive, and I appreciated the personalized touches like the anniversary card in the room. The breakfast offered a wonderful selection, but I did face a bit of a wait for dinner service one evening.

We had a fab 4-night stay! The beds were super comfy and the food was top-notch. Had a delicious dinner with no fuss about changing the menu. Only bummer was the noise from nearby trains at night, but we managed. Nice spot to explore the area too!
